Menu customisation

Hi.  I am currently using the Smack Tech 1.1 by SmackThemes and I would like the menu to span right across the page.  How do I do that?  What should I change the css to?  It currently reads:

div#menu {float:left;height:48px;padding:0px;background: #246097 url(images/menu.jpg) repeat-x;width:100%;margin:0;}
      div#menu {font-family:Trebuchet Ms;font-size:20px;}

      div#menu a.current{color: #fff;}
