First things first, hi and welcome!  Smiley

Ok, so super nice and easy one first up - that's what i love  Grin

Basically you go to the wp-admin site and go to Write>Page and create your page - it should automatically appear and link properly under the Pages heading on your blog - as it appears to be at the moment.  Of course when we click on the About Me link now it fails - so i need to know a bit more about how you created that page in the first place as it should be displaying fine?  Also, did you change your permalinks after you created that page?  I would guess it's most likely related to permalinks.

I would go into your WP-Admin section and go to Manage>Pages and click on the 'published' link under the 'status' column that corresponds to your 'About Me' page - let me know if the page opens properly.

You should also do a test and create another page (using the standard method i described above) in your WP-Admin section and see if it  works properly.  Let me know.

And congrats on moving to Wordpress, you won't regret it.  It's easily the best blogging platform out there and of course i'm always here to help  Wink.  It shouldn't be too difficult to replicate the style of your current blog to Wordpress.  I'm currently working on a 'Total Theme Customization' series which should hopefully be of help to you.

cheers,

Paul.

I'm assuming you have Wordpress 2.5.1 or higher

1) Go to your wp-admin section i.e. http://www.yourblog.com/wp-admin

2) Once logged in, go to Write>Page and put in your title in the 'Title' text field and your page text in the 'Page' text box

3) You can make it a child page of another parent, but usually you would just put it as a root page, which is default, so don't change the 'Page Parent' at all unless you really want to

4) When you are finished click on 'Publish' and that is it, done - it will now automatically show up on your home page under the PAGES heading in the sidebar.

5) If you choose 'Save' instead of 'Publish' it will save a draft that you can continue working on later on.

6) If you tick the box called 'private' it will make this page only available to you i.e. hidden from the main page to all public users

7) You can then manage (edit) any pages you have published under the Manage>Pages tab whilst still in the Wp-Admin section.  If a page is already published and you edit it then just choose 'Save' to save your changes, you don't have to 'Publish' it again.

Hope that helps.  That's about as simple as i can get it Smiley

Also, make sure you read all my beginner series articles from the beginning as i go through hosting and setting up from scratch Wink

cheers,

Paul.

Ok, just noticed you are using sidebar widgets to display the pages and blogroll - try removing the widgets (WP-admin>Design>Widgets) and re-adding them.  That should do the trick.  If it still doesn't work then let me know.  I wasn't able to replicate your issue on my testblog site  - it all worked ok using exactly the same theme, widgets etc.

As i have recommended in my blog, avoid sidebar widgets if you can - they just cause trouble and youlose any control over your code.  If you want to do it yourself without widgets read my post on 'Removing unwanted sections from the sidebar' which tells you how to fix up the sidebar how you want it.  By default (without widgets!) Wordpress will show the Pages and Blogroll dynamically.

Also, i advise using a different theme - i know you are just starting off but i recommend you change your theme first before you do anything.  I had some problems with the 'Kubrick' themes (which the default is based on) when customizing/editing some things.

cheers,

Paul

No problem, glad to be of service.  That's what the Ninja is here for  Grin

PS: your site is looking great, nice theme.  Make sure you update your permalinks though for SEO reasons and because the urls looks much prettier - http://www.wordpressninja.com/wordpress-a-beginners-guide-part-4-admin-settings/
